Afghanistan2030

With the “Afghanistan 2030. Next Leaders” Project we support talented young people whose careers and personal and professional development were abruptly interrupted by the Taliban takeover in August 2021.

We take to heart a generation that for 20 years has invested energy and personal resources in the name of peace, progress and democracy, remains today an orphan of the institutions that would have the task of putting their efforts to good use

The “Afghanistan 2030. Next Leaders” project aims to respond to this need, outside the emergency logic, with strategic planning, creating a structured network of partners of excellence in the hospitality sector, supported by private entities (Companies, Foundations, Academies, …) interested in supporting this specific target of beneficiaries.

This collaboration between public and private is functional both to the socio-cultural and economic revival of Italy, the socio-cultural and economic revitalization of Afghanistan and the relationship between the two countries, through the protection of a proactive component of active citizens and potential “Next Leaders”.

Right to higher education

A2030, thanks to donations from private individuals, facilitates access to university study by supporting deserving students with scholarships or specific funding intended for the conversion of academic qualifications, the payment of regional taxes, and support for room and board.

In collaboration with the project partners, it offers guidance and accompaniment on the territory, social inclusion, intercultural mediation, administrative support for practices related to international protection and public tenders for university scholarships, support in finding accommodation or hosting families, according to individual needs.

A2030 supports Afghan students eligible for scholarships in Italian universities, or already holders of scholarships, in the procedures for obtaining visas, document conversion and enrollment in study courses.

Academic Career

A2030 collects, in a constantly updated database, the profiles of teachers, researchers, consultants and scholars who adhere to the Project through a dedicated form.

It maintains relations with the internationalization offices of Italian universities with the aim of promoting positive inclusion for academic profiles participating in the “Afghanistan 2030.Next Leaders” project.

It supports candidates in accessing calls promoted by universities for the implementation of collaborations aimed at expanding the online and face-to-face teaching offer, activities and research topics, thanks to the contribution of new skills and specializations.

Professional training

A2030, thanks to the collaboration with Mygrants, Forcoop Cora and other training institutions, offers an opportunity for qualified migrants to continue a training course now prohibited in their country of origin, achieving tangible results in terms of career and personal training. Through the Mygrants platform it enhances the performance of candidates and through thematic quizzes validates their skills with a dynamic CV that can be easily spent on the job market.

Access to the labor market for qualified profiles

An opportunity for qualified migrants to pursue a path appropriate to their previous skills, achieving tangible results in terms of career and personal training. Thanks to the Mygrants platform and the specific “pick-me” project, it identifies the ideal matching with companies looking for specific profiles.

Orientation to entrepreneurship

Afghanistan 2030 welcomes and accompanies your business idea by providing guidance and the cultural mediation necessary to embark on an entrepreneurial path and transform your idea into a project.

The enhancement of the creative and entrepreneurial heritage is the main access for the preparation of privileged conditions for an easier and more positive social inclusion, with some paths of excellence that can become “successful refugee stories”.
