OGGI IN AFGHANISTAN È IL PRIMO GIORNO DI SCUOLA. Ma non per tutt@! TESTIMONIANZA DI ZAKIRA

Mi presento: sono Zakira, studentessa afghana presso l’Università di Padova. Ho 20 anni e vivo da pochi mesi in Italia.

Sto studiando ingegneria dell’informazione all’Università di Padova, grazie alla borsa di studio #unipd4afghanistan e ad A2030 Social Innovation Designers e Fondazione Elena Trevisanato onlus che mi stanno calorosamente supportando.

Tuttavia non posso non pensare con dolore alla notizia della messa al bando delle scuole superiori per le ragazze afghane in Afghanistan.

Questa è la foto del giorno in cui milioni di ragazze sono andate a scuola con entusiasmo e speranza di continuare la loro istruzione. Tuttavia, sono state costrettie dai talebani a tornare alle loro case.

Come ragazza che si è diplomata in una di quelle scuole, posso immaginarmi di essere nei loro panni e questa notizia mi rattrista profondamente!

Non ho parole e non so cosa dire alle mie consorelle afghane che attualmente risiedono in Afghanistan. Mi dispiace di non poter fare nulla per cambiare questo!

È un peccato per me, per tutti gli afgani e per il mondo intero!
È un peccato per tutti coloro che sono al potere! 😭💔

My heart is bleeding because of the news of high schools being banned for Afghan girls in Afghanistan.

Today, millions of girls went to schools with excitement and hope to continue their education. However, they were forced by the Taliban to return back to their homes.

Being someone who graduated from one of those schools, I can imagine myself being in their shoes and this news deeply saddens me!

I am lost for words and don’t know what to say to my fellow Afghan sisters currently residing in Afghanistan. I am sorry that I cannot do anything to change this!

It is a shame to me, to all Afghans, and the whole world! It is a shame to everyone in power! 😭💔
